How is SCM function affected by Project Montana? Especially the global SCM? It’s not part of the PRC.

It doesn’t seem like groups outside of PRC will be affected at this time. However, when our projects start to finish I could see them opening up positions that are already filled to give people coming off the projects the opportunity to get a position. We are talking at least a thousand people including SCM. The business units these on loan people are working for are not going to absorb them permanently. In short nobody is safe.
I am currently employed on GOM’s SCM group. Will my team be affected by Project Montana? If the answer is yes, to what degree?
Which part? Between upstream capability, global category management, procurement technologies, the shared services centers, and the SCM professionals in PRC there are many groups which are not specific to an operating unit.
