Has anyone else heard the rumor that MRC is merging with these two west coast XBS companies by January?

I know about part of that being true. The bay area (formerly Zoom) was already transitioned to MRC and then the Sacramento area is currently being transitioned to Inland. All of Zoom execs were gone within 3 days of the merger between IBS/ZIS was announced. Inland team is doing nothing to sustain Zoom, so presumably, everything will be IBS soon... But ZIS did far more business for Toshiba than Xerox so they aren't wanting to input all ZIS coding (can't blame them). Not a single admin (AP/AR/Contracts/Leasing) from Zoom is still in place... Zoom was moved to IBS location, merged into IBS, sold to HCL all within 2 weeks.
if it is true, they would be very lucky! Bob Leone, President of MRC is a great leader and more importantly, a real gentleman.
This is expected... Xerox asked XBS to come up with ideas to save $. XBS decided to make a plan to consolidate to 4 to 8 master cores. Xerox thought this plan was not enough so while XBS continues to consolidate Xerox will continue to lay people off, transfer some to HCL and shut down as many non-essential buildings as possible.
If you need to show you can make $ but don’t have a great way to boost your sales ASAP then lowering cost is a great option.
