What the hell happened to IT services over the past year? Its a joke! Is there anybody left that has a clue about our applications?

Well, ya see, our CEO thought that we weren't necessary so she setup a plan to get rid of all of us.
For the past five years I've watched my friends and colleagues be replaced by people overseas (usually at a ratio of 10 offshore resources to one employee). We were given a few weeks or months to train these people about systems that we learned about over many years with documentation that was aged or often didn't exist. The people that we were given knew nothing about the organization and most don't even know what soda pop is, so we had to teach them the business. They don't know the technology we use so we had to teach them architecture and systems and skills and common sense and logic. They don't know interpersonal skills so we have to teach them how to work with users. They don't know the language so we have to create templates for them to use. We have spent years trying to make them successful at the cost of our own careers.
We were given an impossible task with a very short timeline with the ghosts of our fallen colleagues and careers still fresh in our minds and we did the best we could.
