ET off cycle raises

I've heard several examples of ET people getting off cycle increases. I believe they are in developer roles.

I know people were turned off by the transformation layoffs. So I guess this is good news that SF wants to try and improve morale in the most effective way ($$$).

Hopefully we all see some extra increases to keep pay competitive!

That would work real good as they put you on another list to get rid of you!!

If you are in the Software Developer role and intend to give notice, HR can give counteroffers. This is true even in Bloomington.

Christ, they just fired thousands and thousands of people. Now they're raising the lower end of the pay scale for a handful of roles and this is supposed to be Net good news? I don't think so. Better be careful. SF enjoys terminating people with higher salaries... ending up with a bigger paycheck makes you a liability the next time they decide it's time to cut.

Wasn’t just developers. Included high performers in the hubs where there is a war on talent. As a result retention has improved substantially. This is what most savvy companies do and the Bloomington mindset had to change (and fortunately did) to enable this. And for those who would whine about this in Bloomington- retention is sky high there - no one leaves, therefore, there was no business rationale to do it.

Laid off a lot of high pay range employees so more money for others.

I understand why this did this, but as someone who wasn't under the pay threshold, it stings a little. Why no dollars for me?? Lol

Same happened in claims for those with 2-5 years experience in their current role .

The floor for RE software developers was raised. So underpaid folks were lifted up.

I don't think anyone else got raises.
