Trunk Club is distributing decreases in pay as we speak. They will probably see a small layoff by end of 2020, as well as an employee-led mass quitting in Q1. Abandoned jobs will not be filled or they will start new employees at lower salaries.
Hiring freeze over there as well, is the rumor, but there are jobs posted? Maybe the hiring freeze rumor is wrong. Either way, looks like it'sh–ting all parts of JWN.

Layoffs? Sure but not till after Christmas. We only celebrate one holiday at a time.
Yes, layoffs are coming in 2020. Outsourcing will continue in some areas. Nothing new it’s been going on for a couple of years. Cost savings is the only goal as the company looks to improve profitability before being sold.

Actually, it being Black Friday, I just purchased $200 of clothing and shoes off the internet. Sierra Trading Post had just what I needed, sweet.

Nordstrom should start by canning any tech anyone pulling down more than $200K. Then rationalize and rightsize and reorg from there. You're welcome.
Several conf rooms are booked on 865/21st floor for whole day by HR. Is that a sign?
