We look at all GM engines, transmissions and other parts for GM, we are located in a UPS facility hidden from the UAW.
We are contract employees, does this mean we will be hired if the contract goes through? Or have a chance.

Don't bet on getting a shot at Union or becoming a blue-badge. My total time as a second class citizen totaled over 17 years, and all I received was the "call" on the last Sunday in November telling me my position was "no longer needed".
GM hides allot of work, all of the warranty work is customer engines and all parts, root cause failure analysis.
All failed parts from dealerships are sent to this facility and reviewed by GM engineering and technicians.
Another way for greedy motors not to pay people and let them advance, the warranty reduction is all captured data that is fed back to the executive levels and is tracked by all PMT teams, because of this activity it has and continues to save GM millions anually. It's absolutely UAW avoidance and yes it's in a UPS facility on Lapeer Rd just past the old Palace.
