Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Interesting to read of CEO comments on CA versus TX given the 2.7 mil. fine at and CEO's recent divestment of 50% of his CVX stock.

The DOGGR notices of violation, the order to "take all measures" and multiple follow-up site visits by were essentially scoffed at by CVX leading to the 2,7 million dollar fine levied recently. Are CNAEP spokeswoman tweets bashing CA govt (hashtag: dontcarehowyoudoitincali) in line with CEO? Optics not good and maybe not good for business either. Blaming others and not taking responsibility for your own mistakes is not consistent with the Chevron Way.

New CA reg agency replaces DOGGR. State looking into whether CVX had lost OC at Cymric. New spills-seeps reported a few days after prior cleanup “completed”. Optics are abysmal.
