I worked in Frito R&D 2 years ago. I was always somewhat against some of the innovation fails they put time and money into. Also, I was a proponent of not changing fundamental components for core products....(the PwP b—s—) I and soooo many talented R&D people were let go for no reasons at all (thanks to the younger, cheaper, s—up millenials that were hired in), and we all firmly boycotted Pepsi and Frito products. I was curious so I popped open a bag of simply white cheddar cheetos, and WOW they now taste terrible. I am beyond shocked, but the seasoning team (you know who you are, i know most of you, many of you are still there) with the way these taste....you should be looking for new jobs. Same goes with the Sensory team. Also, I know the core platform Senior Director was canned along with me and 15% of the office, but whoever took over since has tanked the fundamentals behind the core brands. If your initials are CC, SY, LP, you deserve to be shown the door like you did blindly to soooo many people.
