Our call outs and no shows have been so bad for months and months, that finally the cashier was so fed up that she started writing emails when management refused to do anything and forced their hands.

She kept writing every day asking and stating that this person(s) has a on-going track record of call outs, or no-shows and each time he calls out, another employee must cover his work load and its unfair and what is to be done about it.,

Others now joined in the fight, with the moral high ground, and now managers are being forced to take action because if this goes to corporate, how would they look by allowing this to go on for this long a time?

So now, individuals have been transferred out to other depts, written up, and even placed on final.

But man! Its THAT bad where a cashier has to force management to do their jobs? Pathetic.

On the other hand, no one is, or has been applying. So by laying off these sub-par , poor attendee employees, only worse ones will take their places if any at all. Marvins philosophy of placing bodies in positions is failing, and no one is even willing to work for him under these roll outs of poor schedules, and extremelt physical work with no chairs.

Our new specialist quit after 2 days, no one is applying, and its just a rotten culture and place to work for everyone. Even Upper management has had enough.

My friend at corporate who is excelling in sales, is about to place his resignation. All the good ones are leaving, and more rejects that were fired from Home Depot are coming in, like our District Manager.

Its clear Marv & co are here to destroy lowes.

When a customer has been waiting 3 bells, and you ask how long they've been waiting... they think 20 minutes.

I had a guy try to breach my aisle blockers once. I looked at my watch. When I opened the aisle, he complained how long it was. I asked how long it was from when I told him to get behind the blockers to when I opened the aisle. He said 30 minutes. It was 9 minutes. It was only that long due to being 16 foot deck boards. He could not accept that it was only 9.

Target is no better than Lowes, but it's almost common to have associates call out on weekends, even without the CCS

You know it’s bad when you’re driving to the supermarket and see one of your former Lowe’s senior citizen customers standing outside waiting for a loader. The man was always nice and so was his wife. So I drove parked, walked across. Said hello, and loaded the 10 lb box she needed assistance with. She said the place is a dump now and they dread going there. I said, I don’t know about that I left and got a better job. She said good for you, and gave me a big thank you. She said she’d been waiting for 15 minutes. I don’t know, but I know I recognized her from a good 150 yards away, had time to go through some stop signs, wait for cross traffic. Park, walk across the lot, load the car, talk a few minutes, walk back to my car, start it. Drive past her, and nobody had come to assist her.
