Is State Farm planning another IT transformation...or should I say ET transformation? A number of people at Corporate South complain about not having enough work...while others are swamped. I thought the last transformation was supposed to get rid of overstaffed positions and better allocate the work.

Interesting....IT and Business was together many years ago.
Will business and IT combine to drive product management?
It is fantastic. She is so deserving and will get this transformation moving in the right direction
Did I miss this announcement? Who?
First woman CIO in SF history. Highly qualified and well deserved. Excellent choice.
Actually she will be a guiding light. A single leader drives focus. Assume others will align to her.
Naming a CIO will solve the problems!!......dont think so.
Good news on naming a CIO.
We are in the middle of a transformation. You just don’t like that our new leaders are more skilled and expect more from you. Our department better shape up or we could be considered not vital.
Why so many Managers and “Technology Managers” again? Like a show at times. Not real world and expensive. Folks get treated like high schoolers and the concept is strange. Mine personally knows and does nothing and takes no initiative but relies or staff to do everything. Not even technical background or demonstrated ability to actually dig into the work or how to do it. Does not even schedule own meetings. No other companies have such games off attitudes for “managers”. Enough micro managers calling it “metrics” and supervisory “leadership” retroric.
New leadership will actually address the woes that have festered and been ignored
Transform from “staples” digital to something more productive
Yes.
What a surprise.....get rid of all the good people and keep the YES people....
The new senior executive will address this just as he did with claims.
The transformation was supposed to put the right people in the right jobs. In reality, a lot of people were moved into jobs where they didn’t know what they were doing. IT managers were supposed to be technical people who knew the technologies that they were managing... None of that happened, and availability is impacted because of it.
Get out while you still can.
