Word is more wage cuts on the way.
After 18 years as a BHI DD I decided to test the waters after the last wage cut. Happy to say I found another job. The oil field has slowed down a bit, but Baker have lost a substantial amount of their market share. Other companies are still going ahead. Message to everyone is if you have the chance to leave LEAVE.
That is exactly what has happened with US land.
Management tell us we are taking pay cuts for the survival of the company. Why don’t they lead by example? The reason we have lost market share is because we cannot compete in this current market. We need high day rates to pay for our over priced management. We are top heavy to say the least.
Heard that management are telling hands to wait until Monday and they will be told where they are going. That tells me there will be another round before the weekend.
Time to fire the board of directors and end every manager globally and start from scratch you would save over a hundred million bucks hint hint

Come on! It’s the field’s fault that we have lost most of our market share and the majors laugh at us. Give the sales team more baseball and football tickets and they will see us right.
