I read a comment that said Citrix hasn't done a massive layoff. Apparently that person lives under a rock. In two days will be the 2 year anniversary of the layoff. Best thing Citrix ever did for me. After 10 years of working for Citrix, that severance package was phenomenal and now I'm in a higher and better paying role then I was at Citrix. Thank you, Citrix, for laying me off! I assume since that brought so much scrutiny, you won't see a massive lay off like that again but only in small amounts that won't be noticeable to the media.

Only time will tell
I got laid off a few months ago. I had the same amount of time with the company as the OP. Pay off was great and I got a new job quickly with much better pay and prospects. Don’t worry about getting the boot, just use it as a springboard to better things.
