Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Will working at Halliburton ever not be this stressful?

Constant stress and uncertainty are really starting to take their toll on me.

Literally the worst management! The US MPD manager and his sidekick are absolutely f—ing useless! They can’t manage people, jobs or money. And leadership...haha what a joke there is ZERO leadership from these 2 id–ts. Those 2 couldn’t find their way out of an open ended cardboard box with all 4 hands, 2 flashlights and a f—ing map.

Halliburton will continue to be a c-ap place to work until there is a great change of a LOT of upper management. Unfortunately by the time that could happen, the company will be a shell of itself and there will be no one left coming up to fix it or even to understand what the hell went wrong. I see no hope for the once leader in the field. There is some talent in independent companies ( former Halliburton guys ) but they already have a fine running business and would not throw a life preserver to any Halliburton management.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the company not giving a rats-a$$ about any of their employees anymore?
Odds of someone making a lifetime career with the company are extremely low.

Working at a regular non oilfield job is more enjoyable and reduces stress.

These emotions are normal and typical of people working in the oil service sector which is highly cyclical.
