Sadly as much as I didn’t want to believe it, they just don’t have the skill set or emotional intelligence to execute a good transition and integration. Their lack of people skills is shocking to say the least. Everything is done in a vacuum and their own employees in the same function don’t know what the other is doing. We got bought out by a below average organization.

They are not organized enough to use an offer as a test of loyalty. They truly are making it up as they go along.

Yes, that "promotion" really means they will pay you exactly the same for at least double the responsibility and stress but can't tell you with any certainty where your office will be located. Makes the decision pretty easy doesn't it? Yes, I was offered that great opportunity as well and politely declined.
