Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Can you use SYW points / Freecash at stores in liquidation mode ?

My closing Kmart store has a sign, that they are not participating in advertised Kmart sales / promotions. Do they still participate in the SYW program ?

There's barely anything worth buying at my store and you can still use points including the spend 150 get 15 a week or 300 get get 300 offers still get 1% back as customers just not the surprise pts b.s that always caused a headache anyway

When a store enters liquidation mode, the dementors now patrolling the store send anyone who attempts to use shop your way points to Azkaban.

@oxx You are correct but the liquidator can and will cut off all SYW point redemptions any time he wants to. That's what happened in our Sears store during our liquidation and closing.

You can redeem base SWY points only. No free cash offers apply. Also, you no longer earn SWY points in a closing store.
