Sounds like MB is going to have a mutiny on her hands among the salaried non-executive leaders. How did the results come back from the Workplace of Choice survey?

if GM "gives in"....
i guess we know which side you fall on :]
lol
When you hire an H1B visa person, you're supposed to certify you can't find any Americans who can do the job.
If you're laying off Americans who are DOING the job, you lied to the government.
All those H1B visas should be revoked for fraud.
Good maybe they will
R on R onald and his big band of clowns should be the first to get cut!
They ARE replacing salaried workers with cheap temps.
There are a LOT of people on H1B visas in Austin.
GM only wants them and the new college hires.
What do they have in common? They work cheap and don't know what they're doing.
This is a very negative and unfortunate time for many, why not allow folks the opportunity to grow and advance? It seems clear GM has no intention or interest in people development. I was with the company from 21 to 42 and all I have heard from current leadership is well lies! They say we are focused on our employees but we all know this isn't true. If you work on the line and are seeking education to better yourself and the company one would think that's a win for all? I guess that's not the case anymore, some of the comments on here are shameful and comes off as finger pointing, blame games and back stabbing. Wake up salaried heads and all employees, if the company could replace you lot with cheap temps they would if they could get away with it.
It boils down to profits in their pockets and no enrichment or chance for human growth within the walls of GM. The days of generous motors have been gone since the 1970s early 80s. Stand United not divided I guess.
