Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Finally out!

Put in my resignation last week! I am far past being sad about leaving... the company I am leaving is nowhere near what it used to be, and it's only going to get worse. Glad I got out before the recession hits and before more cuts are made.

I was there a looooooooooooooong time, too.

Good luck to all who are left. Your next job doesn't have to be perfect, but use it as a step to get out of this sinking ship.

@11hhvBpF-1hig <3 I'll miss you too, but I'm always just a text away. I wish I could have found a way to stay, but I know this is the right thing to do. I wish the best for those who are staying. This is going to be hard for me, but I know it's the right choice. I take with me so many good memories and friendships that will last for years to come. <3

Of all the people who have left our core, I’ll miss you the most. I’m happy for you that you’re moving on but I’m so sad to see you go.

When I resigned my boss didn’t even care. And our leadership doesn’t either. I know I made the right decision. F that place!

Congratulations for getting out of that dump. I left last month and haven’t looked back - I am so much happier and so motivated to use my skills somewhere where it matters & where they will be appreciated & rewarded.

For those looking remember your terminology may be company specific but it doesn’t mean you haven’t gained valuable skills, if you tagged devices/collected meters then you do some project management. If you took calls to place toner then you could be customer service/order processor. If you managed software (ie paper it or FMA) you were application support... google the industry terms and freshen up your resume with those. Keep using your core lingo and people won’t be able to find you!
