Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Blocked IP

I want to report some shenanigans with this site. My IP address was absolutely blocked. Lately, I have been trying to comment, and nothing showed up. Thereon, my Wi-Fi was turned off. Subsequently using data. Then it worked. Again, tried with my data through my router IP, comments were blocked.

This tells me, UP is in cahoots with this site. If they can buy Unions, FRA, and local communities, then layoffs.com is within their influence. My posts were not offensive, they were challenging UP's negative culture.

If anyone else experienced this, please let us know. We are all in this together.

I'm not too sure that the OP is too off base. If his/her original IP got blocked for stupid comments, then most on here would have been history already. There is more to the story than meets the eye.

I have the same issue. I have had my IP or mac address blocked for time time for posting too much truth.

Sounds like your phone is broken and the only option is to throw it out the window

So your WIFI IP address is different from your Cellular IP address?

This is very interesting. Have you considered contacting UP OSS so you can learn more about the origination of IP addresses?

Read the site rules, can find link at the bottom of this page.
Also, other users say that one can be banned for foul language, derogatory speech, trolling, bullying, advertising, making off-topics and duplicate threads on purpose, posting personal info (names, initials). If you posted a curse or two, mods just delete it, if they find you malicious, they nuke everything you ever written and ban your IP from posting again.
Can check what they say here: thelayoff.com/h/deletions and on other similar tags.

So somehow, with a blocked IP address, you're still able to put up a post about having your IP address blocked, and in collusion with UP management no less.

Does this sound ridiculous to anyone else?

FYI: IP addresses are easy to reset, especially, on a Windows OS.

OP: The only thing I took from your post is that you're a conspiracy nut who is technologically challenged.

Stop trolling and they'll stop blocking you.

"Cahoots" lol...

Yes. UP is one of a 1000 on this site. However, the only stupid comments are the ones not expressed. Just because someone vents on here, doesn't justify the site blocking them. UP is involved in this.

Many people express their grievances on layoffs. Why are some censored? Maybe because the truth hurts.

Sounds like you were making some stupid posts. UP is but one of 1000’s of companies with forums on this site.
