Here is an interesting notion - The HO will get data and they will realize that they are short staffing stores so they will need more humans to do the work (we all know that we do not have enough people to do all the work required):
- Walmart Corporate will get a rude awakening in February 1, 2020. Here’s why: From a Tech standpoint, they have already put Artificial Intelligence programs into effect this year (bet no one knows that juicy detail). The AI will quantify and compile all the data, like if bins are worked, if sections are done, how many items a shift are re-scanned the next day (aka not stocked). And soooo much more. This report will be compiled and finalized after Christmas, but analysis checks and additional calculations should take a few weeks to materialize. They will soon have an accurate look on how much work is not getting done. And approximately how many extra hours each store would need to correct the data. That also goes for customer service, fresh, and all areas essentially. Corporate will know how “screwed” they are in real quantifiable data, in stores/regions/divisions/etc. The Reckoning will come...
