So... After waiting 10 months to hear something about NewCo, Pat comes to the all hands saying there is going to be a delay and we should stay "customer focused".

C'mon - didn't Steve Martin already wear out the European works council excuse and then give a rallying cry for customers? You've really got nothing else? Pathetic.

Pat you need new advisors!! You are using the same "executives" who advised Bill Ruh and Steve Martin - and they are making you look foolish, just like they did those guys.

Despite whatever LC is putting in the letter GED is far from "being number one or number two in the markets it serves", if that phrase is relevant. Point being this is a minor player with minimal external credibility - its only big news because GE doesnt know what to do with it and cannot sell it.

In the investor letter LC finally mentioned Digital. So maybe there will be a NewCo after all. Unfortunately they will need to rightsize before it comes about. Look for the 1.8 billion investment to be lowered to around 1.1 billion over 3 years to get it started.

Clean house? LMAO He’s part of the problem why this supposedly NewCo has delayed like this.

Steve Martin wanted a separate entity, Pat doesn’t. At least when SM was at the helm there were progress and regular updates. Now it’s “I don’t care about the name, I care about the employees and customers.” barf Who’s slowing what down is pretty clear.
