Gwp cbl said customer host moves across the front end and makes decisions to help customers. Maybe they are changing csm to customer host and reducing the number of csms like they are doing with team leads.

@11chHk4G-bpt originally, in earlier versions of GWP, what they are now calling Coaches were "Business Leaders." And shorthand for them and Team Leads, Academy Trainers, and Team Associates were BL, TL, AT, and TA's. Some where you read and your brain thinks, "BLT." Ah, Yummy....

@11chHk4G-pui The only thing truthful that you said is that Pay Grade A and Pay Grade B are becoming obsolete. New hires will start at the company minimum pay, which depends upon where you live with current statewide or municipal minimum wage laws.

In 12-18 months once full front end gwp is rolled out, csms will be eliminated. There will be a few team lead and trainers on the front end, the rest will be gone. Severance will be offered. Some stores will have as few as 4-5 registers, the rest will be self checks. Remaining front end associates job codes will merge. Hosts will no longer be part of AP.

It's not a stupid question at all. Everything is so up in the air and undecided with Walmart right now, it's natural people are wondering about every role in that company.

I was told the CSMs will report up to the GWUs once the YRMs consult with the BQPs.

Sarcasm off... what an id–tic question.
