The uaw blocks all entrances to VEC in Warren. They are making everyone late with an already heavy workload after the layoffs. Maybe we should all block them and make them late once it’s over?

Many of these posters are correct salaried should join a bargaining unit, you don't stand a chance. Not to sound cynical, but I've been salaried union and non union, I would take the union position back in a heartbeat!!! When you're represented, it's like magic, all the games go away and you can focus on your job and not worry about all the corporate c-ap!!
First the contractors went, then the salaried.. and maybe soon the blue collars too.... and if the rumors are right, more salaried again later.
So much engineering work is already being done at TCI & TCS, what makes you all think that any one of us is safe here, whatever the color of your collar is?
Salary folks will be out on their a– by the thousands soon.
Like I said the UAW is not your enemy here.

No sympathy for union workers that block the employees from entering the buildings to work. There was no union for engineers who were let go and to boot, most are over 50 still looking for employment. Additionally, due to this strike, suppliers are forced to freeze hiring with possible lay offs. There is so much greed from both sides.
Pro tip: Your is not the same as “You’re”
Have a nice day.

I find it rich that the UAW workers had no qualms about crossing the janitor's picket lines but now want to blockade non-union workers from crossing their lines. It's totally awesome to play both sides, depending on what best suits you at the moment. Go UAW go!!
I love the posts calling people fools while featuring elementary level grammar mistakes and horrible misspellings.
GM Tech Center "Warren Salaried" workers would be wise to start a Salaried Bargaining Unit. More and more of your jobs are outsourced to India and China. GM just partnered with TATA motors to handle design and engineering at TATA Tech Center in India. Those folks are working for way less money than you are paid now. If that is not bad enough take a look at H1B workers taking your jobs for 40% less than your paid currently should be a wakeup call.
I worked at FCA tech center and the H1B folks from India took over so many Salary jobs that I though I was in another country. FCA housed them near the Silverdome and shuttled them in every morning at 9am.
GM Salaried folks you need to do something now because it's already getting taken away from you.
The UAW workers picketing are not you enemy. Corporate greed is and they are coming for your jobs.
Yeah that's a good idea, said no one ever.

That's right, you are not represented and no better that a contract employee.
When you get laid off, and you will eventually, don't show those wet emotional eyes here, the only one crying will be you and the rest of the salaried employees.
Stop living in fear, your master's are enjoying it immensely.
Slowing access to the Tech Center isn’t going to win over the hearts and minds of non-represented employees. It does the opposite, in fact, and none of the people that work at the Tech Center are empowered to do squat about the negotiations anyhow. Most have laptops and can work from home as this drags out.
Every dollar the UAW gets is a dollar the non-represented employees won’t get. Remember that before getting all weepy eyed for those that got themselves caught up in this self-imposed mess.
If the UAW wants to get salaried employees on their side, blocking them from getting into work ain’t it.
Maybe you could join them instead and form a professional union of your own!
Your all cowards and can't see what is in front of you.
Read the article and kiss your jobs good bye to China. Take a stand salaried employee and get Mary Barra out.
Your fools. Stand with those people out front at the VEC, not against them, when the next round of layoffs come don't come here crying because this time it's in all of you to stand up, you want more work load and less pay, have at it.
