Company with the Lowest Score on Glassdoor

Why are we consistently the lowest scored publicly traded company on Glassdoor dot com? Employees are not happy and nobody does anything about it. How can you have a viable business if your employees hate you - or, is it that we grade our company more harshly if compared to employees of other companies?

The glassdoor score relies on many variables. That dumb–s of a CEO Lance Fritz sees that score, and I'm sure he hides behind the excuse of change is hard for some people. Anyone know what his score was 2 years ago? The UP has been going downhill since Mr. Young left. The BNSF is the largest RR by a large margin now. All it's going to take is for one person on the board to object to the current operations. Jim Vena has just under a year left on his 2 year contract with the UP. When his contract expires, there's going to be some questions being asked as to whether he fulfilled his contract obligations. You folks have to be patient with this executive team. Lance, Jim, and the rest of those clowns will be answering for their mistakes. Their pensions depend on it. The PSR plan was supposed to be a turn around plan. The UP was already a top performer. There's hard days coming for the UP and anyone affiliated with the company. Let's just hope and pray that someone intervenes before it gets to a point of no return.

Hey we’re working people 30 days in a row and cancelling vacation. We just can’t find out why people are quitting. Let’s ask them. “Cause you’re working us 30 days in a row and cancelling vacation.” Let’s do another survey that can’t be it.

It’s not rocket science 1) don’t lie to employees, 2) don’t lay them off when the company is making money hand over fist, and 3) create a schedule for TE&Y that allows predictable time off. Geezuz, does it really take a $250k MBA from Harvard to figure this sh– out?

The UP Glassdoor rating has been underwater for a long time. Supposedly management looks at Glassdoor because internal polling is so unreliable due to lack of participation and answers that often don't reflect the responders views.

The smart thing for UP to do would be to have an independent polling agency come in and do a detailed, far-reaching survey of employees.
