@11ZZWVhO-2qpp...Voldemort lives!!!
He didn't do it by himself. He had help.
In fact, some of his corporate policies actually contributed to the loss of capital during 2Jets tenure at the helm. Anyway, he gets to keep the money no matter what. All of that money won't improve his looks nor lengthen his life. He looks awful in that picture.
Didn't GE's market cap rise over $500 billion during Welch's time? Would you pay $417 million to repeat that. Jack Welch was worth every penny by that measure, during his time.
You mean the gains that were all lost .... a small increase in stock lately...really? My Lord ...you all have lost your a$$ side....
Let me guess...Senior band ????????????...Executive band level wanna be ...but not the OMLP cookie cutter tag alongs....that can’t find their way out of a brown paper bag????? Just a guess....
Anybody else going to join in and give up all of the profit and gains that they made as a result of Jack? Don’t think so! The only people b–ching are the ones who believed they could get a lot for doing as little as possible. The stock started going up and all of a sudden the chatter on this site almost stopped completely.
Last I checked, in the Legal realm, it's not a crime to be rich...at least not yet.(?)
Unless said financial gain was accomplished by a less than honorable means, which has yet to be factually determined about prior GE executives.
In the meantime, They can just keep on Skating back & forth to their Off Shore &/or Swiss Bank Accounts & enjoy the parties.
Plus, don't forget that the "Good Ole' Boys Club" continue to take care of their own. Always have & who knows if They will always will be able to but They seem to be keeping the Status Quo.
Time will tell, until we have the facts, don't get all worked up about something you have no control over.
So as a wise old sage once said,
"Get out while the gettins' good."
@ rfb — Imelt was the CEO he was using money wisely to benefit this great company we work for. Be glad your not on the streets and your enjoying the gutless contract you all voted for.
I for one am glad I am living off my pension and savings from my legacy rate that we fought for. I am also especially ecstatic that I do not have to work with a bunch of uneducated cry babies who DO NOT take a stand.
The post 2011 hires deserve what they do not get and you should be ashamed to be in this union. The post 2011 members have no backbone and got steam rolled by the company again.
Best Regards
Proudly Retired
No they earned everything they walked away with. You should just be happy you still have a job working for this great company. As the holidays approaches just be thankful you can provide a good holiday for your family this year. Next year could be a different story but who knows?
Immelt, Comstock, Bornstien generation of wasteful, clueless, gamblers should be at the head of the queue.
They should both be in prison !
What about 2jets Imelt?
