Fear and Distrust - IT Steaming Pile - 5% Layoff for Xmas

Get ready for another ride. Another poorly thought our reorg coming to IT again - just in time for Christmas. Another spit in the eye from the man on the outs DiKi. Let's see if he can save his job before he gets canned early next year.

Lots of words - no details. That would require a level of understanding.

Clearly current IT resources commenting here. Director level? Maybe, but most likely manager level with the bits and pieces you think you know and really don’t. The only ones spreading FUD are right here. I suppose you’d rather comment than do something productive. If unhappy, leave. Easy. Oh wait, YOU CAN’T - no place to go. Former leadership ran this company nearly to the ground, some still around need to go. If this were a public company, these changes would be swifter and being operationally efficient on cost would have been expected decades ago.

Organized chaos. Nobody feels safe, whether it’s in tech support areas or business areas. Get to work each day with head down and just hope HR doesn’t ping you for your disappearing act of the mysterious lay-off. The company has created the toxic environment...rumor has it more layoffs coming December 16th...Happy Holidays

IT is a mess. Poor management, No career growth, Piss poor communication, Lack of recognition, Poor leadership, Lack of training, Excessive workload, Lack of tools and resources, Lack of collaboration, Complete lack of direction….nothing but get rid of people and layoff’s…..

How many VPs were hired? There were promotions from within as far as I can see. The IT division is on the right path, more than can be said for business division I’m in. We need to change fast everything’s manual and people don’t wanna work that hard.
