They told us they were only going to buy the basic tear away safety vests now. They won't buy us the reflective striped tee shirts or winter jackets any longer. What a way to get creative and save a few dollars.

You 20 year guy's you will be next. May should start looking now. It will take you about 4 to 5 months to find a job
Go out in the real world? They should supply us with safety gear, boots, tools, and winter clothing since they require you to wear it. I don’t care if its cheap vests or not, but I’m not going to be happy they give us things that they require we have in order to move their freight. You sound like a railroad executive.
Can’t afford safety gear anymore but you can stand outside in the cold and foam at the big boy if you want.

Just like the boot program. I have an idea. Why not get rid of this f—ing vena and his 12 million dollar salary. F—ing a–hole. All these f—s from CN coming to our company and overhauling everything. They won’t haul trains that will only pay then .39 cents on the dollar. Wtf. 20 plus years at this company and i don’t even know if I will be able to make it to retirement.

What dept? The only thing we have ever got was the vests
