I know for a fact that some IT layoffs are happening now. Some long time IT staffers have been escorted out of the building. Also, unconfirmed that some buyers are also being shown the door. Ahh.. gotta love the timing eh? Work 'em hard right up to peak freeze and then lay them off.

Glass door is a joke. They are like yelp..they make their money off employer ads... but only 45 percent recommend the company..which still seems high... the anonymous reviews by top executives are a poor joke
Just saw this on Neiman Marcus s—s on Facebook....shameful..the company lied as well and used the Dallas morning news to do it...wretched that this money losing company did this and tried to act as if they were still hiring to boot ..New CEO Raemdonck is just as ruthless as Katz long as he collects a paycheck..just sad....

Has anyone else ever noticed that everytime there are layoffs there is an influx of good reviews on glassdoor from anonymous employees? Seems fishy.
I am sure they will hire several EsVPs in the next few days, the salary and bonus have to come from somewhere, they got the goods In the store for holiday now lay the people off that did it, it happens almost every year. What a disgusting company.
In true Neiman's spirit they get rid of the people that do work and give the additional work to other teams all without even giving raises this year. Guess what the executive team is still getting their nice big bonuses.
Several buyers, planners and support folks. They received severance packages and placement support
Unfortunately the do-ers are being let go while executive management continues to expand.
Any word on severance or any other departments affected?
