Getting paid twice this week

So we were informed we'll get paid twice this Friday and no check next Friday. what kind of number fudging is this? Sounds goofy as heck.

Earnings report on the 12th isn't going to answer anything definitvely. Only important news released at those meetings is the financial numbers which will give some indication of the state of the company, but the rest is usually a bunch of BS.

The company is in financial trouble the word is that they lost another 60 million numbers will be out next week bankruptcy is in the near future no company can keep hemaraging money like they are and survive as far as the pay sounds like they are counting on the sales for the upcoming holidays and in a sense robbing peter to pay paul by holding your pay it keeps it in the bank where dean can still collect the daily interest to cover payroll and the sales form the holiday to bring them back current with the payroll it sounds like a temporary fix and I could see this happening again in the future or worse I was at garelick rensselaer for 7 yrs and just left within the last 6 months it's a shame it use to be a great job just got fed up with the cut in hours and the bad management lies and unethical favoritism not to mention the junk equipment think leaving was a great decision do miss some of my coworker and a few of the customer well the few they have left....

Have the banks given up extending Dean? If they aren't being cooperative, the best response is to file. If they see a path to profitability (restructuring, asset sale, etc.) then credit stays intact and there's more time.

Just imagine when earnings report tanks next week. Going from working at Dwans making a nice living to stocking shelves at Wal Mart for the holidays to keep your income guidelines on check in order to keep receiving Government benefits.

Don’t believe me?

People at Polaris got away with it all the time. They loved working short weeks with layoffs so they could still qualify for unemployment and food stamps.

ADP upgrade makes sense. With all the rumors going around you would think they'd would have wanted that communicated 100 times in a 100 different ways and starting weeks ago, but that would require communication other then "if you don't like it leave".

Timing with all the talk of shutting down and stock drop and reporting call next week has tho mean bankruptcy

ADP payroll software upgrade or something like that. Everyone is getting an 80 hour check tomorrow that doesn't include overtime worked. They'll be doing what they call a "true up" for all overtime worked this week and it'll be included in the end of the month's check.

My guess would be bankruptcy filing coming and it's a way to keep people working while things get straightened out with the court.
Wife worked a place that went bankrupt. Was paid monthly. Didn't get her last month's pay before bankruptcy was filed. Ever. Got paid for the 2 months she worked after bankruptcy until final closing. Got 25% of the vacation she was owed about 2 years later.

Better spend wisely. They are about to drop the HAMMER over the holidays. Mass closings is what word I’m hearing is.
