Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

And the greedy GM executives win again. Never buy a GM product as long as I live.

I feel bad for all the contract and salaried folks that were needllesly fired last year, what exactly did the uaw employees gain?

GM uses employment agencies dope, the goal is to use even more.
And when they do hire it will be more contract employees, they will use all of the so called direct hired GM employees to the maximum and when the time comes for another "restructuring" and it will eventually, you will be tossed aside as if you were a contract head. You aren't uaw and have zero protection, get ready to receive the blue bag in the future and carted away with your c-ap in the not to distant future.

Have you read a paper the last few years? People are in prison from Chrysler and the UAW and the prosecution said it was bribery for a good contract.

Are you sure It's not an employment agency?
Are you sure about the Financial results too?
Are you sure it's a business?
And are you 100% positive that allot of people we're not needlessy fired?

Needlessly fired? The financial results clearly show that GM didn’t need as many people to support their whopping 16% market share.

When GM needs more people to support the creation and manufacture of new products, they will hire. Until then, they’lldo the best they can with who they’ve got.

GM is a business. Not an employment agency.

Did Chrysler bribe the UAW leadership in 2015?

Didn't gain anything. Same contract that Chrysler bribed the UAW to take in 2015. Strike wasn't about hurting GM. It was used to starve the workers into accepting a bad contract.
