Was the IT Group hit hard?

The risk office and compliance were heavily impacted.
For the last year or so all vacant positions in IT have been extremely scrutinized to the point backfilling became so uncomfortable to talk about they just didn’t.
Basically, they lost their portion through attrition and senior leaders “left for better opportunities” aka told by a buddy to go job hunting.
People across sites and lines of business are getting layoff. Associates are having meeting with their direct supervisor and managers regarding their performance. I believe more layoff to come.
Across multiple departments. Was informed that about 150 were from Easton Campus, and the remaining were related to the call centers.
IT is mostly unaffected (for now)... But Marketing got clobbered... Client Partnerships also got hit hard. It was a nuts day.
