I see a handful of trend shoppers buy to buy. I mostly see last act shoppers and customers out for a specific purchase. "I need a dress shirt today"
That said. As I look at out standard fair assortment coming in for Q4 why would they shop more.
I look at our non consistent assortment throughout the store. Everyday I see rtw customers looking for the basics like pencil skirts, simple white and black button up shirts for the office, nice simple dress pants, not more leggings or capri or palazzo pants in every brand. Everday dresses and skirts ...not a few sun dresses.
A fashionable plus size collection.
I see the same 50 styles of Karen Scott cardigans and sweaters we've had for years.
Not to mention the over the top Gold INC trend table including that horrible gold sequin shapeless dress. (All Headed to last act)
Online retailers like ASOS and Boohoo can stock small amounts of a lot of different things and respond to demand. The one exception is Zara.
