Why so many “Technology Managers” again. Whole walls of em in Systems Lots of nit picking and micromanaging but not seeing much else. I’ve been I. Areas that managed themselves better without that role. It’s amazing how HR supervisory types or a career path was made out of that role. My Manager takes no initiative to know or do anything or help the real work. Likes to not pick, bulky and take credit for metrics and work though lol. Not typical of a real working Manager. He knows and does nothing. But likes to pressure and demean and act like a high school coach. In 30 years of work I’ve never seen so many folks treated like children and those with power and fluffy jobs calling themselves managers. It’s like a big show and mafia anymore lol.
