Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

When are store closings usually announced?

Is it individual or do they usually clean house all et once?

When I was laid off in July, The SM told me I could re apply after such time. I laughed at him. (I don't think he thought that was funny) I told him that Lowe's is like the Titanic right after it hit the iceberg (Messy Marvin) I got out in time. Why would I want to jump back on a sinking ship.

4th quarter. That way they can be off the books by start of first quarter or soon there after. Makes sales and plan and you’ll be fine

It’s more like the beginning of Q3 so the store is fully closed come the end of Q4. This allows for the next fiscal year to start Q1 with a (financial) clean state.

They can be announced at any time, but when they are they tell everyone at the same time.

Basically, make sales and don't spend too much.
