So they sold mod cloth and apparently had layoffs at Bonobos. Clearly that dotcom acquisition spree worked.
Who here thinks Walmart’s actual dotcom sales are growing? Because I don’t believe that for a minute. I think Walmart’s online growth is all online grocery pickup which is actually coming from the stores.
Which means there will likely be more layoffs.
Your right more will come! I got laid off because of the impact on the online business! They made a huge mistake when they bought all those business!! They are making huge business mistakes and the employees are paying for it! You can't trust the company and it's a sad thing!
I’m just saying that one would think that with dotcom losing so much money, layoffs and restructuring is coming.
But knowing home office, they’ll probably cut more store hours....because that makes sense...
@xgc If the Home Office/Stores didn't cut hours and reduce staffing, then there would be enough associates to stock the shelves. Then sales go down because customers can't buy what they want and go elsewhere. Then the Home Office/Stores cut more positions and hours.

Know those special parking lanes reserved for the on line pick ups? At the stores in my town, THEY'RE ALWAYS EMPTY. That's MY barometer for how this program is doing..

Everyone already knows that Wal-Mart e-commerce is having major losses of up to $1 billion, google it. Of course there will be more layoffs. None of this is new information
