Virtually irrelevant. Pensions guaranteed by Federal Govt agency up to a limit and very few if any retirees get a pension that high that limit is exceeded. If you doubt it, google it to confirm pension guarantee..
No impact if you are already collecting a pension - that would be illegal.
Combined company will carry more debt than Raytheon by itself and will have a lower credit rating, so very very small but higher risk of eventual bankruptcy which could impact pension.
How many pension packages are available?
