CEO of Charles Schwab bank sent out an email today that said layoffs were complete.
EVP of Corporate Risk Management sent out an email this evening. Based on that I assume CRM is done.
Not done. Unfortunately I work for a team that is tasked with turning people down as lists come out. 218 today. Tomorrow is another big day. Friday will be too.
Sad what this company has become. Heard word today that the firm is trying to offshore another 500 jobs over the next few years and hire more contractors to handle front line calls like the nsd and some customer facing phone support reps. This is what the American company has become. employees with real benefits replaced with cheaper labor. This company lost its soul. Can anyone actually say they know someone happy working for Schwab right now? Every team is under staffed and over worked. Nobody cares.
It's done. We are all clear. There may be a few stragglers that didn't notified, because they were out sick or on vacation. Or hiding in the bathroom while HR was looking for them. But beyond those stragglers it's done. A nice email from the CIO went out today.
