You APC holdouts are some goofy nuts. Your company was the worst in the industry. Bottom of the barrel. And here you are lauding it in praise compared to the company that swept it up after you and your cohorts destroyed over 50% of it's value.
You are lucky they haven't tarred and feathered you incompetent fools, but instead might actually pay some of you to leave. Be grateful. Oxy seems pretty generous to me. Most people as bad at their jobs as you guys would have starved by now.
Oxy lacks agility and decisiveness. Even when it looks like they made a decision - how to apply for CoC - it ends up been redefined but not advertised? You had to click on hyperlinks to find out an update was done on the CoC section of integration central. No newsletters and no visibility to the Oxy org chart. Live in the dark with all the millennials making the left decisions.

It has become clear that management had no idea salaries in Anadarko are higher than Oxy. Now, Anadarko employees will pay the consequences because they may be asked to perform duties well below their current role and quit on their own. This is one step closer to denying CoC. What’s next? Oxy may asked people to quit and accept reduced CoC.
The entire purpose is to announce and drag out as long as possible to produce maximum misery.
They are picking and choosing who leaves and when - completely random. Some have left that wanted to stay longer, others can pick the date. Comm'on man!
Only a small number of folks have gotten their exit dates through the VSP program so far. At least a few are departing this Thursday and these are not officer types or high level folks.
