THREE THINGS :
- Big poush for Pro, and all store employees will be trained on supporting the push and expected to "chip in".
- Zebra Phone - more apps coming.
- There will now be 4 meetings per year and they are not called ALL-STORE anymore. They call it something like All About You meetings or some chit like that.
I didnt go either.. but this is what I was told by friends dumb enough to go.
I was one of the assemblers laid off and I attended every meeting for nearly 20 years. They were as worthless in time as Carvin' Marvin.
They can win by themselves I'm heading for a break
Our store managed about a 1/3 turnout, according to reports. I cannot confirm this firsthand because I wasn't there. A .333 average is a tremendous baseball batting average, not so much for "mandatory" Lowes attendance. Lol
Stats stats stats, fake awards given by managers who barely know the person they're awarding and say about five words before moving on to the next one, raffle where all but then people put in for a paid day off because they hate their jobs, meeting four times a year now. Please clap.
So... the meeting was to talk about how you will have more meetings....
Yeah, sounds about right for Lowe's.
The actual meeting was only about 20 to 30 mins. We have a new store manager and I'm surprised that the meeting went that long because this store manager is never at the store. Sometimes missing for 4 to 5 hours at a time. I'm sorry for the people that had donuts. We got breakfast sandwiches, muffins, and coffee. We are suppose to have a store meeting every quarter. That's the only thing the store manager said about what Lowe's will be doing.
Ours started late because they fired the loader that likes to smoke before the meeting.
Meeting was over in less than an hour we were told that we could leave or work in our departments; nearly all left unless they were opening.
Food was a couple dozen donuts and a few gallons of cheap a– orange juice, not the real stuff, the fake stuff.
Big waste of time. And I heard we are having these 4 times a year.
That type of motto is usually used when they cut more hours and want you to work several departments at once.
I saw elsewhere that "Winning Together," whatever that is, was spewed.
