If there are not a lot of details, it's more than likely because they were given any and they were giving folks a heads up.
Of course they told you it is not a big deal.
They do not want you jumping ship.
Me, i left while there are still some good jobs at other companies.
I am honestly concerned about the hush hush nature of all this.
I've read several reports of how bad it is and I talked with my supervisor and was told (basically), it's not a big deal.
No one but upper management gets details about lay offs . Working there for over a 15 years I know . Never have seen as much changes and lay offs since I started here . Got laid off and rehired twice within the last 12 months . Hanging by a thread .
Any conference calls for Friday’s is always bad news for Acosta. Only care about themselves not loyalty to employees.

They laid off some purple team members a few months ago.
So, if accurate, these must be additional layoffs if it's being announced today.
