Medicare for all will need to be funded by corporations as you can't tax the individual citizens to 80% like Europe does- that money now spent on Healthcare will be doubled to pay for Medicare so the raises will be cut again- no one wins on any of this except the health care companies!! Look at who the candidates get donations from................
By the time you satisfy the deductible the year is gone and insurance hasn’t paid out anything. New year begins and it starts all over again. The cost of the insurance that the company pays is added to your income on your W 2 and you get to pay income tax on it.
Our deductible have gone up massively as well. What is it now? It's over $6,000 now at least.
If employers didn't have to buy health insurance for their employees , they could put that money into wages. People could then buy the health coverage tailored to their needs. You are paying more for less coverage as it is. For years we paid nothing and had great coverage and 1500.00 on a PWA card .
