Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

Barbie is DEAD?!!!

Oh, sorry - it’s the Day if the Dead Barbie, another stupid, non-commercially viable liberal stunt concocted by Richard and executed by his @$$ puppet, Lisa.

Bashing Barbie is now too easy when they give you the baseball bat in the name. There’s no sport in it anymore.

They are really reaching on what Barbie can be next. There’s so much more other dolls to play with than Barbie. Mattel doesn’t realize that the Barbie size doesn’t appeal to girls anymore. Cute and small are what’s in so girls can put in their pocket and take with them. But of course Mattel missed the boat on that. RD will just keep making high end Barbie which doesn’t make any $$ for the company.

Dear last poster:
At only 1,000 units it certainly doesn’t seem like Mattel thinks this isn’t much more than a publicity stunt. And no 3-5 year old girl will want it which is the only audience that even buys Barbie. This age compression has been documented for 10 years.

Not sure who is thinking these ridiculous collector products up, but from a design perspective you need THE Best, not Mr. Best (because he’s far from it).

Dia De Los Muertos Barbie is a beautiful doll and lots of people are going to want it. Once again, original poster, you don't know what you are talking about.

Isaac, you really must stop talking trash about Mattel and concentrate on finding a way to make tiresome Bratz have a comeback.

C-ap! I thought it was a zombie Barbie from George Romero’s Day of the Dead undead movie.

I’m sad now.
