19 employees got the ax today. Mix of specialists, pros and tenured employees, all full timers. I'm PT so I guess I'm either safe or my hours are going to get cut to nothing. This job is just a retirement thing for me, give me something to do for a few hours a day and put some beer money in my pocket, s—s for those who depended on this job to pay the bills though.

"reasons for terminations? this sounds like complete bs" I asked and was told it was for "performance issues" and that's all I got out of my ASM and another told me outright to mind my own business. I'm going to find a new job this coming week.

Unless this happened across at least a whole region it isn't part of the coming mass layoffs, it wouldn't be just one store or market. It would be useful to know what they were terminated for.
What store is this? I hope this isn't going to be the changes that we keep hearing about.
