I wonder how much money Marvin would be paid if he was paid based on the quality of his decessions and his leadership instead of the money he makes for his masters.

How about social responsibility towards his employees and paying them a wage they can live on?
How about cuts at corporate? It’s always the stores that have to do more with less and less and now even less.
There is no need for Marvin to make the kind of money that he does. He can’t spend it in a lifetime, why not share the wealth with the employees.
