Q3 is looking bad. More people to be let go soon.
Overheard at HQ that all Europe and Australia offices to be closed by end of 2020 apart from small sales locations.

Some of these VP and Directors have responsibilities that really don’t equate to their level. Small teams, global in the sense they send emails, HIGHLY dependent on others, process driven and require very little or trivial critical thinking. I guess the title masks their incompetence and hence you have these circles - birds of a feather right? I guess whomever is getting promoted are just brown nosers with minimal talent.
Meanwhile promotions still happening. They take care of their own little circle. And those promoted blurt it out on LinkedIn with no regard or feelings for those that were just let go. You would think they would at least wait a little while before posting. I'm happy for anyone getting ahead in life but difficult to see promotions happening so soon after they let me and others go.

They'll be lucky to make it to this Christmas/
How many will leave on their own by EOY? is that part of the plan?
Management claim they had no say in who was let go. Yet some clearly got protected.
More fat could be cut. How soon?
It is sad, but we need to shrink to the bare minimum.
Sadly the layoffs did let go some good people that were needed. I would mind another round of layoffs so as long as it targets upper management - seems like the more incompetent the executes are, the more “Directors”, “senior directors” and VP’s they have. People wonder by old companies like Ford, IBM and HP have so much upper and middle management - it’s to easily hide from the firing squad by providing more larger targets in front of them.
So sad that these old and crooked people dont realize that we all know this. Hence every time a RIF happens with this type of management, people take it personally because it’s “NOT BUSINESS”
Agree that layoff predictions have been accurate, it just boggles the mind that management would consider a 3rd round of layoffs in one year
Most of the layoff predicts have been VERY accurate on this forum.
Q3 is only half over and they just did a huge round of layoffs. Isn’t it a bit premature to be speculating on further cuts?
Please stop the bleeding
