So Sabre is now posting on LinkedIn how they have improved lives for those Employees who are taking Maternity/Paternally leave..........but they keep having quiet layoffs all year round. If you do not have a plan to get off the boat then I hope you can tread water for a long time.

So they hired 3 new VPs in HR a year ago, and rolling out Maternity/Paternity leave and Volunteer days is about all they have to show so far, besides taking away paying out PTO when you leave. Bravo, what leadership, are the candidates clamoring at the door to join us to do their “best work”? SMH

SM total compensation is about $10 million. Just a reminder. Anything like this that they do is for profitability. They think they will save more in health claims, or attract some better talent, etc., so they do this. If something doesn't have an ROI attached it generally doesn't happen. The name of the game is doing the bare minimum.

i'm not going to fault them for doing something that is actually positive for a small subset of employees and they darn well should “market” that. Cause what the heck else can they market ?!??
