I handed in my resignation yesterday. It has become obvious lately that there is no future here - the company will keep laying off people each month until there is nobody here left to lay off. Sad but true.
I will miss the people I work with, but will not give the company a second thought.

I disagree about should have waited for the severance package. They keep you around to train your replacement; screw that! If you have the opportunity to move on then move on; you most likely got a salary bump. Good on ya for leaving now
