So in the event of your company going down the toilet let’s give the employees some hope by basically telling them that no matter how well they perform they are going to be investigated for violating “work rules”. Here in Texas it is apparently managements new policy to investigate employees for a violation of the work rules no matter what. We have specifically been told that performance no longer matters. Management must not keep track of the stock market to see that the company is failing as a result of executive leadership. I really think all of us union brothers need to band together and show management how important we are to the company.

Do reps still work over their shift on purpose by 8 minutes to earn 15 minutes of extra overtime pay?
Yes, senior management are clueless... Techs would come in 15-30 minutes early and log into techportal to check tickets, show the day starting at 8 as normal (cost to company=$0) or flex our lunches to assist the customer (cost to company=$0)..
receive an email from a senior VP "I feel it necessary to remind each of you that we do not have early starts and we do have hour lunches. I will assume that failure to comply is willful intent to be insubordinate and I will address accordingly. PLEASE follow the policy. "
Well, what you get now is 8-5 with a lunch hour between 12 and 1... sorry Mr. customer, it is 45 minutes to your site, can't be there before 9. Down during the day, sorry I have to leave for an hour lunch. Down close to 4, sorry I need to leave to be back at the office by 5 to log off of tech portal... It is difficult to unlearn quality customer service after 20+ years of putting the customer first.
You aren’t important to the company. That’s the problem.
