MPLS weren’t LRed. They were sidelined so quit.
What is the grade of a fellow engineer? The one where there are only 14 in the entire company?
I don't know what grade a Cisco Fellow is, but I do know we LR'ed about three of them a few years back.

Grade 04 - working poor class
Grade 06 - working poor class
Grade 08 - working poor class
Grade 10 - working class
Grade 11 - middle class
Grade 12 - middle class
Grade 13 and above - upper middle class
There's a grade 9 in sales but not the corporate pay plan
compensation is also dependent on organization & location, some orgs provide significantly higher compensation
There is no Grade 9 ?

Grade 14 is Distinguished Engineer

Engineering only:
- Grade 04 - Software Engineer 1 . Entry level for Bachelor's degree
- Grade 06 - Software Engineer 2 : 2+ years of experience or just got Master's degree.
- Grade 08 - Software Engineer III
- Grade 10 - Senior software engineer
- Grade 11 - Tech Lead - also, 1st line manager
- Grade 12 - Regarded as 2nd line manager
- Grade 13 - Director.
