All district needs to go they are lazy sit in the office and watch the managers/ supervisors run around like crazy you think they would get off there asses to help nope they pick up the phone and page you to the front or better yet they walk the store and see things such as maybe a missing sign and instead of just doing it themself they wanna give you a list of dumb sh– that needs to be done they are supposed to be support staff lmao what they supporting the chair there asses are sitting in?? So glad I’m out of that company was there for many many yrs and I finally stopped drinking the kool aid and got out I now love my job should have made this change years ago.

Reminds me years ago of MMiddlemark, his philosophy was you have employees for a reason, make them do the work. Never said please or thank you. Was our DM then became our SM because he wanted less work (right?!). Ran our store with an iron fist, you better not have showed up on a secret shopper report negatively because he'd give a final warning write up, no verbal with the explanation that you were warned in the huddle meetings. You'd request days off the schedule, he'd schedule you anyways, then tell you you had to find a replacement or face disciplinary action. There was a candy bowl filled with treats in the fine china department, a young employee took one not knowing it was for "customers only" (no signage) and was promptly fired. I could go on, it's just amazing looking back what we dealt with having survived his regime!
When MM finally got "turned into a customer" (his favorite expression for firing someone) we all drew a huge breath of relief and got a real human being for a SM.
