what's happening

this low commodity environment worries me a lot. Every day I come to work, I do my best. I see the stock going down, why?

It seems share prices dropped even more when they announced to decrease capital spend and try to pay more dividends. Wrong message???

Do not need employees to hand out dividends.
Same for share buy backs. Capital spending creates real work. All energy sector players on hold wrt to real investing. Hold on going to get much worse.

Sadly, I am afraid it is true. Big shaking is on the way. Who knows what it brings us. Let’s wait for Tuesday :(

This is truly concerning. Everything is hush hush. Meeting rooms booked all day on Tuesday by HR.
One place to start with the cuts could be at the massive bonuses some senior folks receive.
Stress leave?

Oct 22nd confirmed. Very discussed in my dept right now. Rumoured to be 10-15%, despite small layoffs and contracts ended over the summer. So far mostly Western Canada staff.
